changing final destination flight

Hi, my wife has been excepted to come to Canada with a PR visa, when we filled out the forms we said Edmonton will be her destination for her flight because we wanted to visit some family there, Edmonton is not the city that I live in and due to road conditions and her getting excepted right at Christmas when all the flights are really exspensive, we changed her flight destination to a different city but on her Confirmation of Permanent Residence paper it says City of Destination: Edmonton. is this going to be a problem when she goes through customs and shows this paper? thank you for any help

Shouldn't be an issue, if they ask, just say what you just wrote above.

You can do the landing procedure anywhere in Canada. It makes absolutely no difference what city your airplane arrives at first.

The only problem would be if the city you intend to reside in is in Quebec, in which case you'd need extra special documents.
