Changing DLI and Field of Study after Visa Approval!!

Hey guys! If I change my DLI and field of study after visa approval but before landing to Canada, should I apply for another study permit? And what if my current program was 1 year-long and if I change it to 2 years. At the end of one year should I apply for an extension or apply for another visa?

You're going to have ask IRCC directly. Their website have changed stance recently on this issue, so no one really knows...
