Hi all,

I am a mechanical engineer from india, I have 3 yrs of work experience in IT domain as a business analyst. I have worked on SQL and SAS. Certified Big Data, Hadoop analyst. I am planning to apply for Masters in computers in Canada.

I have bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. Will i be able to secure an admission in Canada? I am planning to apply for University of Winnipeg and UNBC.

Any suggestion on which universities i can try?

Will they accept my application for an MEng/MSc?

I have 59% in my bachelors engineering. Will my work experience help compensate this?

Thanks!

Hello, I have also the same case as you have, I'm from mechanical field and I completed my bachelor. But now I want to study in Canada in IT field, major in front end developer. Will I get admission in particular college and does it affect the risk of visa cancellation?

go for university masters and not college. your visa file will look far more formidable and serious.
