Changing closed work permit to open work permit

Hello, Am currently working in Canada with closed work permit. But , now am looking to convert/apply for open work permit. Just wanted to know whether am eligible to apply OWP?. And, i have not been invited to apply PR yet though am in express entry pool. Please let me know whether i can still apply for Open work permit.

Based on the limited information you have provided, you do not qualify for an open work permit.

Being in the Express Entry pool does not qualify you for an OWP.
