I am one of those unlucky Ontarians who got “peeling” license plates, and now I decided to change them. Instructions on the Service Ontario web pages cover this procedure, but are incomplete.
What is the exact procedure? Do I get new license plates immediately, and the new vehicle permit featuring new letters/numbers? What about the license sticker? Do I need to inform the insurance company about new plates? Anything else I need to do?
Or some temporary plates are issued, and later I receive new plates with the old numbers?
