Changed my intake and send my new LOA

I recently changed my intake from May to Dec since the fall intake had no seats available. I have sent my new LOA through web form but I still haven't received any reply from them. (Sent it on April 7th)

I wanted to ask if this will affect my processing time. Will my visa officer process my study permit slowly due to the fact that I am a Winter Intake now?

Also, there have been no updates on my application (I submitted my application on the 24th of Feb) should I be concerned? (No update to medical or background check, just the status says that we are checking into your eligibility)

You may not see any change on your file for some time as most IRCC employees are on strike. Updates through webform can take several weeks. All you can do is wait.
