Good day all. Here it goes...came to Canada as a student in Jan 2016, completed my course on Dec 2016. Got my 1 year pgwp and it expired Feb 2018. Before it expired (a month before) I applied for bowp but my former employer didn't want to do the lmia even though I was a good welder.i then applied for restore status as a visitor March 22nd of this year. It was rejected I paid the wrong fees. On April 15th of this year reapplied for restoration inland visitor and I have yet to be told if it is rejected or approved. I did get a letter 2 weeks ago about apologies for delay. I am married to a Canadian resident since end of March 2018 and just got our marriage certificate. She intends to sponsor me but this long wait time stresses her out more than me. :-
