change status from tfw to visitor inside Canada

Hi.. I am a temporary worker here and my work visa will expire on April 2015.. I understand that i have a 90 days grace period to restore my status...
I have a Canadian boyfriend here and he wanted me to stay longer so I was thinking of changing my status from TFW to a visitor (just incase I didnt receive any positive LMIA since its quite difficult to get it now)..

1) What are the documents that I need to submit if I am applying a visitor`s visa inside Canada? I have a brother in Saskatoon and he is a permanent resident... I know that I have to request him some documents or an invitation letter from him and i also have to provide enough funds on my account..But other than that, what else do I need?

2) If i didnt get an approved visitors visa from within Canada (just incase) , my other option is to go back to Philippines and apply for a visitors visa outside Canada...but I have to provide ties to my country right? Employment document, pay stubs etc.. but how will i be able to provide that if i dont have a job there..Im planning to return to Canada as soon as possible.. And also, how much amount of money in the bank do i need to show them so I can prove to them that ican support myself while in Canada....

3) My third option is to get a study permit/visa...Is it possible to change my status as a temporary worker to a student visa if I am only taking a 6 months course? and how much fund do i need to provide?

I want to know which is the best option...

Then you will have to get a job, work there for at least 6 months and then apply for a TRV.

Other ties can be properties, direct family members, bank accounts, etc. Please read through other threads to get some ideas on what to show as a strong tie.

It has to be more than 6 months.

As much funds as needed to complete the program (tuition fees, personal expenses, etc.)

Yes.

Be mindful that without a job chances are slim at best.
