Hi guys,

I have received an ITA and my common law partner contributed 2 CRS points.

According to the CRS calculator:
Points with spouse: 503
Points as single applicant: 501
Cutoff during my invitation on November 9'th: 494

Two questions:
1. Is it even possible to change my common law partner as "non accompanying" after receiving ITA with her contributing points to the initial applicaiton that granted me the ITA?
Reason for non-accompanying partner: we agreed that it's best I go there first, settle down, and find a proper job in order to be able to support her during her studies for her licence to practice in Canada. We have enough settlement funds, but that won't be enough as she needs to study full time for at least 6 months then pass a test to get her licence and practice as a pharmacist.
2. If the answer to the above question is yes, how can it be done in the express entry system? Please let me know if you know how will IRCC treat the application too.

Her police cert and medicals are done and all good. But we're concerned if IRCC considers our reason as legit or acceptable by them. Please advice on that as well.

Your help is highly appreciated :)
