Change of status from TWP to TVP

dear all.
My work permit expires in December 1.
I plan to apply this week for a visitor permit for 6 month.
Perpose I state other: plan to apply for CEC/FSW and then to OWPV.

20000 CAD should be sufficient.
Please advice me on what to do and not to do.

Also there is question - whom I will visit during my visit permit (I visit nobody, just will await for my OWPV)

Hi

Unless you get your PR app submitted ASAP and receive AOR prior to Dec 1st, you will not qualify for an OWP. A requirement to get a Bridging Open Work Permit is that you have a current work permit. Until your PR app is processed, you would have to either wait in Canada as a visitor without being able to work or return to your home country.

Listen, you missunderstood me. My situation is next

Currently - Have Work Permit till 30.11 (Would be able to apply for CEC on November 23 only)
Plan to Apply for a Visitor now - to get visitor visa for a perioud of December 2014-May 2015
During my status I will apply for CEC or maybe as FSW on express entry 2015.
After that I will wait for AOR to apply for OWPV.

Should it be any reason why I would not be able to get Temporal Visitor Visa for 6 month?
I will have 20000 CAD (my salary after taxes for the year was 27000) so this money I have as a savings before I came to Canada and they with me now (cash+bank)

It seems you are the one misunderstanding, as per your statement in bold. You will not qualify for an OWP because you will only have visitor status.

The only way you will be able to work while you wait for PR is if you find an employer willing to go through the LMIA/work permit process. Given the requirements for applying for LMIAs, as well as the processing times for both the LMIA and the work permit, your chances of finding such an employer are quite low. You will most likely have to wait out the PR process as a visitor.

Maybe I will continue as a postdoc, LMIA is not needed.
