Hi

I have applied for pr through pnp in ontario. Got my medical request. I have a plan to get marry in this year. I will go to my home country and get marry. If I leave Canada as single and entered as a married, is there any problem of doing so? If i get married during the application is in process then what I have to do? Can I add my spouse to the application?

Regards

Yes, if you get married during PR processing, you can and must add your spouse to the application. This applies even if you don't intend to bring your spouse to Canada when you return. You must tell CIC of all changes in your circumstances, and getting married is a major change.

Basically, once you're married you need to fill out some forms for your spouse. These would be more or less the same forms you filled out for yourself when you first applied. You must also pay a fee, and eventually your spouse will have to go through the medical exam as well.

It's important that you know what you need to do before you go back and get married. I would therefore call the CIC call centre (1-888-242-2100) to ask how exactly to proceed, which forms are required, and where to get them. After you've listened to the automated options, press 0 and you'll be directed to speak with an agent.
