Hello! I am in need of further clarification on this issue.
I have applied for citizenship in my maiden name and will most likely have my oath ceremony before my wedding next year. I will be assuming my fiance's last name but I want my Canadian passport to be in his last name as well.
I read this on the CIC page and want to be sure that ALL I will be needing to have this change done is my marriage certificate and another piece of ID in married name, and not first changing the name on my Citizenship Certificate?. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The identification you provide with your application will need to show your new surname (last name).
