I am going to be applying under CEC around the end of July or Max 1st week of August 2012. My question is that the experience letter that I have is from my job which I just quit in July. I have started another job with another company now. Will I need another letter from the new company as well or can I just write my position in the new company as that is not going to be part of the 1 year experience anyway.

Your quick responses would be much appreciated.

Thanks

If you start the new job before you submit your application, YES, you need the letter...

But it says on the form that list only the occupations in 0, A or B category. What if your current job does not fall into these categories. Then we would not need the letter or even include it in the form. Cprrect?

Yes, you would list only those occupations but, the CEC checklist says, "employment letters from past and current employers for the past 3 years. So as jes_ON said, you would have to provide a letter for the new job as well if you start it before you apply.

Yes, the instructions for completing the form are different than the instructions on the checklist for supplying letters of reference. Don't worry if it's not the same NOC, it's not going to hurt your application...

I have gotten a letter from my current employer and the job here does not count into the 0, A or B category. The problem is that the letter is just a standard confirmation of employmnent that I have been employed full time since --- date and my title and salary. There are no duties that they have put on it which they said they do not put. If I am not using this experience towards the 1yr work experience will this have an impact on my application?

Please let me know asap as I have to apply soon.

Thanks
