Change of job position after promotion - Consequences on NOC and WP

Hi there,

I am applying for CEC (hopefully send off everthing by end of this month!): I got promoted in my job this week (started as Assistant Manager and now got a promotion to Manager, it is still all in the same company). As far as I understand it is still the same NOC category (0632). However, does my work permit cover this? Since it is not the position as in the job offer letter that I received when I got hired as Assistant Manager, does my WP still cover the new title or do I have to apply for a new WP?

I did not find a lot of info about this. Applying logic I would say no. But as far as I see so far CIC and logic does not happen on the same planet...

It shouldn't matter, but just in case I would base the employment letter on your original title and job description.

Regular Work Permit (2 years). Under OCCUPATION it says: Accomodation Service Manager. Hm. I guess that covers both, Assistant Manager and Manager?
