Change of Employer

Hi!

Im a temporary foreign worker and currently working with my employer. The problem is that there's a new offer came (another opportunity). This new offer will be a skilled position. Questions:
1) Will it be possible if i resign and transfer to my new employer? I'm still new in canada.
2. What would be the consequences if ever, if i'll transfer.
3. what will happen to my current work permit?
4. Any advise on what to do before transferring?

Im confuse now... please help.

1. You have to have an approved LMO from the new employer, then you apply for a new work permit. You can't start work until you receive the new work permit for the new employer. Once you receive the work permit your old one is invalid.
