Do you need to notify CIC if you become pregnant after applying for spousal sponsorship/immigration within Canada?

Hi,
Let them know when baby born.

Good luck,

I'd suggest advising them that you are pregnant. Being pregnant with your partner can possibly be viewed as "proof" that your relationship is genuine, as it shows you two are having physical relations. It certainly can't hurt your cause by letting them know, so why not?

Thanks ThirstyDeer. Any idea on how to go about informing them? Should we send a letter to Vegreville?

As far as I know (someone correct me if I'm wrong), Vegreville only processes the sponsor, then sends off the application to whichever CIC office that processes your application. Wait till you know which office it is then advise them, which you can do by mail or fax.

It depends who is pregnant in that instance. If its the person who is sponsoring the spouce then no but if its the person being sponsored let immigration know once the baby is born if by that time she will not have landed.
