Hi All,

We finished our application back in my home country, Lebanon, but we did not manage to submit it before traveling to the UK, where we are currently residents.

Naturally, will have to refill out some aspects of the forms pertinent to current location and phone and mailing addresses; I have already gotten a police certificate from the UK police. My question is regarding the medical exams do I need to redo it? I have already completed it in Beirut 2 months back and have the receipt/file number, so do I need to do it in the UK as well since I will be filing the application from here?

Thank you,

Hi

You don't need to redo your medical, it can be done anywhere in the world as long as it's with a Panel Physician.

Are you planning on applying through the London office? When you say you are a resident in the UK, I'm assuming you mean that you have a long-term visa, or Indefinite Leave to Remain. I ask because you need to have been legally admitted to the UK for at least a year to be able to apply through London.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply, actually I was not aware of that I came here on a Tier-4 Visa to complete my MBA, I have been here for 2 months, does that mean I will not be able to have the application processed from the London office?

Thanks again,

You don't have to have been in the UK for a year; you have to have been admitted for at least a year. If your Tier-4 visa is for at least 1 year, it's fine.
