Change of Address

Hello all

I recently changed my apartment, and I will like to double verify the process of changing the address. I have emailed specific visa office regarding this almost three weeks ago but so far have not get any replied yet. My ecas status still shows my old address.
Is this the process of changing the address or is there a different one. My visa office is buffalo.
Also, How long does it normally take the visa office to change in ecas?

I think the time duration for updation depends frm V office to Voffice, if you have correctly sent a request to have the change better to wait little bit more,

The process you adapted is correct. Just wait as they normally take 3-4 weeks to update the CAIPS (Their immigration software). They may or may not reply you with confirmation of updation, however on the e-cas the new address should show usually after Monday -Tuesday updation of the site. So wait till the coming tuesday, maybe you will see the updated address.
Else write a hard copy letter & send it to them by post.

If you emailed your request, then did you attach any authenticating document e.g (signed copy of your request, your AOR, signed Bio page of your passport). As this ensures them that you are the right guy.

Well, i did so to get my address changed. And it worked.
