My address on file has been input wrong by their computer system

I am under ainp and my application is being processed at Ottawa. On my online records I caught the mistake

How can I chnage my address.? When I got my file number it stated that any changes should be address to Ottawa email. but when I email them they say use online change of address. But looking at the link, you can do online change of address only of u r within Canada.

Help me please??

1. you log in ECAS, select change address, update your address, save it. Note: Even though it said only people in Canada can update address there, it is not true. It actually says you can update address if Ottawa is your VO. I did not update address, so I cannot tell you if it works, but you can try and nothing to lose. Give 3 weeks after update to see if new address shows in your ECAS. Some folks said it is better to call CIC to update address. But I do not think you can get through.

The issue wih online is that you can change all fields but the country and the city..... It's only for canada

So anybody outside Canada cannot use the online system

Hats the number to call as the number I have is always busy
