Hi All,

I recently submitted my Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program(AINP) to the Canadian Embassy in Accra, Ghana.Since by the grace of God I have been nominated for the AINP.I have the following questions
1.In the Application for Permanent Residence in Canada 14 (Your mailing address) the address there is the address of my family member in Canada, what effect will this have to the process of the application in Accra, Ghana.Should the address be my address in Ghana.
2.Can you please estimate the number of month it will take the Canadian Office in Ghana to process the application and what is the next line of action.

Thanks

There is no problem between different home and mailing Adresses as long as they are real,According to the CIC website PNP processing times from Accra are running 6-8 Months,You can relax since once you are nominated by a Province you CANNOT be denied unless you fail the medical and criminal check.In behalf of the Goverment of British Columbia,The neighbour of Alberta Welcome in advance to Canada

Not quite

"7.6. Refusing the application
There are three bases upon which a provincial nominee who meets all statutory admissibility
requirements can be refused a visa:
• the officer has reason to believe that the applicant does not intend to live in the province that has
nominated them;
• the officer has reason to believe that the applicant is unlikely to be able to successfully establish
economically in Canada;
• the officer has reason to believe that the applicant is participating in, or intends to participate in, an
immigration-linked passive investment scheme as defined above and in the Regulations."
