Hi, i just recently landed as PR in Canada. During my application, i was in a common law relationship and my partner is a non-accompanying dependent. Before landing in Canada, we got married but still a non-accompanying dependent. I informed IRCC through Webform but did not receive any response until my flight date. In my COPR, I am single but I informed the Immigration Border Officer about the change in my marital status but the officer just confirmed if it's the same person. I'm just wondering as to what marital status would Canada recognize for my case?
And would my changed marital status be acknowledged since my COPR was never changed?
Thank you!

Canada would recognize your newly married status as long as you have your marriage certificate.
