Hi,
I would like to know if I can get your advice on the following situation:
I got my study permit last year in December. I have been cohabitating with my partner since February 28, 2020, when I apply for the study visa in October 2020, I didn’t meet the requirement of have been living with him for one year, so I didn’t put him on my paperwork because until that moment we were living together just for eight months. He has a very good job in my home country, even he is a partner of the company he works for, so he doesn’t need a work permit, the idea is to be travelling frequently to Canada as a visitor. For that reason, he is going to request a visitor visa, I would like to know if I should modify my study permit status because we have been living together for more than one year now or if he applies for the visitor visa without it and have high chances of getting it.
If I should change my marital status, how can I do that? I travelled to Canada last week because I have to present to initiate my research
I really appreciate your help!
