I am a permanent resident in Canada and my 4 years will be completed in Oct this year. Then I will apply for Citizenship. I got divorce in May last year May 2016. Now my question is what do i need to do to change my last name back to my father's name,
My passport is from Pakistan which i renewed in Dec 2015. But it has my ex husband's name as my last name. Is it required to change last name on my passport before i can get it changed on my PR Card or i can skip that? AS after citizenship I will not need that Pakistani passport anyway. Also there is no Pakistani embassy here in Calgary.
Kindly guide me ? Am I required to travel to Vancouver to change my last name on my passport ? Can i not do it by mail??? or within Calgary?
and I have my name change on my ID card from Pakistan recently and I have my birth certificate. What else would I need????
