Change in dependent's visa status after Ainp nomination

Hello Everyone!
My husband applied as the primary applicant for the Canadian immigration through the Ainp U.S. visa holder category. We are currently residing in the U.S. and I was shown as his dependent on the application. While applying, I too was on H1B visa, but have quit working since December and have applied for the H4 (spouse) visa, the status of which is still pending. The forms that we submitted to Ainp showed my status in the U.S. as being an H1B foreign worker. My husband got the provincial nomination during the last week of December and has maintained his H1 visa status; however, my visa is in transition. My question is - Do I need to inform Ainp about my (dependent) change in status, as I will be showing H4 visa status on the forms that we send to CIC? My understanding is that it is the primary applicant's visa status/job etc that matters. As far as dependents are concerned, once the nomination arrives, the only thing to report regarding them is any change in the family composition like, birth, death, divorce etc. Please correct me if I am wrong. I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thanks
