change employer while PR in process

I have a quick question. My Work Permit will expire before my PR application will probably be approved. Is it safe to move to another employer or apply for Work Permit under another employer while PR is being processed?

Yes you can move to a new employer before your work permit expires and while your PR is being processed. But before your work permit expiers, regardless of wether you are with your current or new employer, you must apply to extend your work permit. An LMO will be requried before you apply to extend your work permit so make sure you start the process well in advance of your work permit expiry date.
