Can spouse change her condition from visitor record to study permit?

the story is that I'm inadmissible due to my dui and now we are going to apply for TRP, so I would be able to extend or apply for new work permit. The question can my spouse change her status from visitor record to student so she can go back to school. She was student when she entered Canada but we when applied for CEC she switched her status to accompanying husband on work permit.

Yes - she can apply for a study permit. Note that it's too late to obtain a study permit for the January term. So the earliest term she can apply for would be May.
