changing colleges doesnt effect PR, neither changing courses. these misconceptions are created by agents to get their commision. and if u r moving to quebec a bad idea unless you have realtives there. French people are racist and most of the jobs need french. Secure your future by enrolling in a good course. Try Winnipeg or Alberta.

Quebec is not bad idea at all and Quebec people are not racist at all. Whoever generalizes racism is sending a wrong message to Canadians and International students. If you can learn french it will help you a lot. There are lot of anglophones in Quebec but being primarily french speaking learning French is good for your future.

Agreed this is all about being in Quebec and respecting the fact that being able to speak even a little French will go a long way even ultimately mixed with some English. Granted some people might just shrug and make out they dont understand but they are not being racist they are just thinking when in Quebec make the effort to speak French. Anyway the people who are racist will express that view wherever they are in the world.

Thanks for explaing it so well. Saying "French people are racist" is generalizing everyone in Quebec. I don't know how people arrive at these conclusion. Racist people can be everywhere irrespective of heritage.

Don't work inbetween. If CIC says No Problem then its ok.
