change address on passport

hello friends
i need right suggestion from u freinds.we r going to apply for PP FOR NEW BORN .now we have shifted to new place(new address).there is different address on our pp i.e. previously where we were living.
could we apply only baby's pp with new address??
is it necessary to change firstly our pp address (me n spouse)??
some says if we go to change our pp address ,there is verfication again n it will take time a month or more.is it true??

we have to send baby pp to new delhi asap.plz help

We got the pp for our twin babies with the new address b4 we got the address on our pp changed. For an address change they do some verification, but that can be expedited if we just go to the police station...in our case we had changed countries so a verification from the Indian embassy was also expected. But all this took abt 3 weeks.
We did all this after we had sent the pp with old address + new address on babies ppi nfo to the CIC, NS. The updated address info, we sent to the VO.

no need to change your address .. we got our PR ( me and my husband) both had different address and different names of the passport.

they dont care unless u have a prof of relation like birth certifiate
