Chances to get study permit?

Hi everyone,

I am currently applying for study permit visa for January 2019 start of school.
I completed all the documents, as well as adequate proof of funds and proof of payment.
I am a filipino but residing in Japan now.
Somehow, I am feeling uneasy because this visa will change my life from now on.

Anything I shouldve done? or should I do to get a little bit of assurance for visa?

Best regards,

Nobody can really comment on your chances, it really depends on your application. If you convinced the officer in your SOP that you will return to your country after studying, that you have sufficient funds, and that your program of study makes sense, then all you can do is wait.
After I applied, I spent a lot of time reading about all the things that can go wrong, things I could have done differently, etc. Then my visa got approved in 3 weeks when the processing time was 7 weeks.
So it's out of your hands now, worrying won't change anything. Just wait and hope for the best.

kabayan, no one can say for sure if an applicant will get approval or rejection... but if you have written a very strong sop (relevance of our intended program from our previous study/current jobs b experience, emloyment opportunity in our home country after w graduate, and assurance that we will go back to our home country after we graduate), then there is a strong chance.

nag lodge ka na ng application mo for your sp?

Thanks Kabayan! Unfortunately, I have sent a letter of explanation on my intention why I would want to study but I did not some kind of assurance.
Hmm. I should've sent it huh..

well, if you mentioned about different opportunities back home after graduation, that would be assurance enough.

i wish you all the best in your application, kabayan! :)
