My newly wed wife (Chinese) and I are going to apply for another Temporary Visitor Visa for her (I am Canadian). She has gone to Canada with me twice before, but before we were married. 1st time was last Christmas, and 2nd time was just this month. We have returned to China. I wouldn't think there would be a problem, but the reading that I have done on this forum and others I am now concerned. Here are the facts:
1) She has traveled extensively in the past (Europe, Asia, Canada x2)
2) She has a steady job here in China for the past 6 years
3) I am on a three year work contract here (2.5 years remaining)
4) She owns a property here in Shanghai
5) She has$20,000 + in her bank account to support her travel
6) She has never overstayed a visa in Canada or any other country
7) Has a written letter from her employer with the permission to leave the company to travel
Depending on the situation with the ongoing strike, we may apply for inland permanent residency once we arrive. First thing is first- get the visa... Do we have a good chance?
