hello members
what are the chances of getting work permit and PR after completing masters of education degree in Toronto? I have heard its tough now?
PR process has remained the same on a federal level. There have been changes in Quebec with a change in provincial government to a more conservative party in Quebec who have made changes that could be/already is disruptive.
PGWP rules have changed to clarify things better and the clubbing of two programs of 1 year now only gives a PGWP of 2 years instead of 3 years.
Work permit has always been difficult to get and requires a LMIA from your prospective employer, no rules have changed.
There are some PNP (provincial nomination programs) that target masters and P.hd students, but other than that nothing else will be gained by being a master's student.
