Hi There,

I have just applied for my Canadian immigration, I am from Pakistan, studied in UK and now working in UK for the last 5 years. I want to do my

masters from Canada. My brother is a Canadian but my mom is a Pakistani National but living with my brother, Unfortunately I lost my father last

year.

In this scenario,

what are my chances of getting a study permit from England.

how should I prove my ties to Pakistan.

Since I have just applied for my PR, will it effect my application

one more thing, back home we still have our business but it is closed and we have large accounts receivable which I have to collect from the

debtors, should I explain to VO about that like this, I have to start that business after my MBA

I would be grateful for a help

Actually I just want to know how to prove my home ties
Hi,

1. You are a student and you plan to study in Canada. You are NOT going to invest millions/start an industry in Canada, so you need to focus ONLY on your 'study plans'. If you think your 'home ties/purpose of visit/level of establishment' are important factors, thn you better ask CHC, how to prove the same because there are NO such required things as per the student visa checklist. You need to understand that your home ties/purpose of visit/level of establishment can be proved ONLY by way of your;

1. Past academic records/grades/standing.
2. 'Competitive' and relevant study plan/course selection in Canada.
3. IELTS 6.5+
4. Minimum required finances.
5. If working, attach self income tax details.

You have already applied for PR of Canada.

You have dual intention which is acceptable as per Canadian laws.

My suggestion is that you must focus on highlighting the point that while your application is under process, you want to improve your education in Canada in a bid to be able to financially establish yourself once your PR application is approved.

If you can demonstrate that you have enough financial resources to support yourself during studies without having to work in Canada, you have good chances of study permit approval.

Good luck
