Chances of getting rejected at POE for PNP applicant..

Hello Seniors,

Sorry for being pessimistic.

Someone warned me that If I live in different province than province nominated, at POE, they might reject my PR.

I will move to nominated province once my contract job will be over in my current province, I want to land right away so that my PR status will help me to find other job in nominated province.

That person shared a five year old link where family was denied the PR at POE, do you know if its still happening or any recent similar examples??

You may be denied entry if you cannot show 'intent' of landing in your nominating province. Depends completely on the officer and your luck. Try and not push it too far. Have an onward ticket to the nominating province when you show up at POE at another province - that displays 'intent'. Or carry along evidences of having applied for jobs, scouted for schools, negotiated leases, identified moving companies etc which collectively display 'intent'. You may not be asked anything at all but it isn't worth the risk.
