Hi,

I applied for a study permit a couple of weeks ago I have not received an answer yet. I want to know if I am likely to get the study permit or not, Please give me your opinion.

I am a citizen and permanent resident in my home country. I have a bachelor in mathematics and I am now completing my master degree in mexico. I got accepted for a fully funded PhD in mathematics in Canada. I have one year of work experience in my home country between my bachelor and my master. My brother is also studying in mexico and my parents are temporal residents in mexico (their status expire in a few month). I have no property under my name, my parents own a house in my home country and I have another brother in my home country. I can return to my old job once I finish my studies.

Do you think is enough??

Your profile is good. It is rare to get refusal for PHD candidates, however you have to prove sufficient ties in your home country and sufficient money with you.
As already you applied, hope for the best.

I dont think I will have a problem with the money since the university will pay me enough for tuition and living expenses. The problem is I dont think I have ties strong enough to my country. All I have is a property that belongs to my parents, a brother and my parents ( although they are living with me at the moment their temporary resident expires in the next few month). I also have a job prospects.
