Chances for student visa

Hello friends..
I have completed my bachelors in nursing in 2007 nov ...
Now i am planning to go for a student visa to canada.
My study gap is more than 5 years now...So i will not be able to apply under spp.
Can i apply under general category
what is the possibility for getting visa.
please do help

seniors pls clarify, one can not apply under SPP with more than 5 yrs of study gap??

Hi,
Yes you can't apply under spp program.
No one can predict visa success.
If you apply with strong documents and fulfill the requirement of CHC.
Then you can definitely study permit.

why cant 'jesus007' apply under spp?i have read here in the forum that study gap is not a problem for SPP.

exactly, there seems to be contradicting views on this aspect, i myself have a study gap of around 10 yrs but i am planning to apply under SPP.

SPP program have limited documents. So it's really hard to convince VO with limited documents.
Better apply in General category with salary receipt, stronger SOP, experience certificate and strong funds.

i have passed B.sc nursing in aug 2012.. i have 6 band in ielts ,not less than 5.5

can i apply for PG diploma or Pg caritficate ?

Naigra clg provide PG Caritificate in Critical care with 6 band ..

how much chance for my vise ?
