Hello guys I just noticed something in my application documents and i am a bit afraid if it will be considered misrepresentation.

I came to canada as a student and then i got Off campus work permit. after my degree completion i did got Post graduate work permit and a temporary resident visa.

in all my forms when it asks " Have you been denied Visa/Permit or entry to canada or any other country" i did mention NO.
I was rejected for a U.S visa in 2012 which i forgot to mention in all of my forms (Reason: when i was applying for canada visa the question was in such a way that it did not ask for a visa rejection to u.s) but then they change the forms for Off campus and post graduate work permit and i still thought that the question is the same so i put no(DUMB I am)

I am applying for express entry soon please tell me how should i pursue my application i want to mention regarding u.s but will it be a misrepresentation as all my previous applications did not mention it ( NOTE: all my applications are approved and i have my visa and permits with me).

PLEASE ANSWER!!

Answer Yes when asked on your EE application. It doesn't matter what you answered in the past, be truthful now.

Thanks Asivad Anac for the reply.

I was wondering if they find this new information they might see what action was taken in previous application for the same issue and finds misrepresentation. do you know of any specific case which had the same issue??

It doesn't matter. The US and Canada exchange information all the time, and the important thing is that you are truthful on your EE/PR application. If you can't be honest now, truly the best course of action is not to apply at all.

Hello everyone..
I have a similar question. I am worried about my application being perceived as mis represented.

So I stated in my student visa application in 2011 that I worked for an automotive company.
My employment letter says that i was hired as a part time research analyst in November 2009 while i was in university and started working as a regular employee from May 2010.

I never quit that job untill was ready to fly to canada. The employment letter was issued in December 2010 and worked till April 2011.
But i never mentioned the fact that from April 2010 i was part of a team that performed both research work and sales work. And from April 2010 my job was restricted to field sales.
So basically throughout my employment tenure with the company i performed more sales task rather than
research work.

Now when i stated my foreign experience in express entry I just stated that i was employed by the company from April 2010 to April 2011 as field sales manager.
But i was also expected to perform other duties as the company being a medium scale enterprise.

I haven't lied on my application and my ex employer is ready to back me up as i am still in good relations with them.

Please advise if it would be problem.
If yes what can i do to fix it.

Currently my ecas has 4 lines and medical passed on my cic.
I am fsw inland and my file is currently in ottawa.

Please help
