I am Canadian Citizen living in Brazil, trying to get my wife over to Canada.

We have start our application process by gathering our documents.
I wanted to confirm if I can send my documents like this
1. Get certified true copy of the documents (Marriage certificate, birth certificate, citizen card, etc) from a notary in Brazil
2. After these have been notarized we have gone to a certified translator to translate these documents.
3. Upload both the Notarized certified copy with the translated document (not notirized) for each of the documents that are in portuguese.
My question is are we doing the order wrong? Should we have first translated the original documents and than gone and get the translated copy notirized?
Any confirmation would be amazing and helpful as we are at the steps of getting the translation done and ready to send out our application.
