Certified True copies

Dear Seniors,

Guide 7000 mentions that for a certified true copy, the authorized person must print the following on the photocopy:

1) I certify that this is a true copy of the original document
2) the name of the original document
3)date 4) name 5) Official Title 6) Signature

I have got my copies certified from Notary but it mentions

1) "Certified True Copy" instead of "I certify that this is a true copy of the original document"
2) Does not mention "name of the original document"
All other things are there.

My primary concern is for the 2nd point. No stamp mentions "name of the original document".

Please guide.

HELP- Certified True copies

Dear Seniors,

Please help. The notary has certified all my documents as "True Copy Certified" "Name, Sign, Stamp of Notary".

It does not say " I certify that this a true copy of the original (name of the document)"

Please guide will this be acceptable.

Should I get a stamp made for every single document like passport, mark sheet etc.. I will have to get 15-20 stamps made then.

PLEASE HELP.

You don't need to get notarized all documents.......only copies is enough

Notarize should be done only for non-english documents translated in english

Does all the translated documents need to be notarized? I am talking to a language translator provider. He said if the translation is on Company's letterhead along with certificate then notarization is not required. Is that true?

For a document in native language, he suggested to submit:

1. Photocopy of original document (in native language)
2. English translated copy
3. Certificate of translation.

Do we also need to submit 'sworn-in' document, the one on which translator takes oath that its true translation..

Thanks,
Neo

Gather your documents in the order of the checklist and check each item. Attach small items such as photos and certified
cheques with a paper clip, otherwise leave documents unbound. Place all documents in a sealed envelope. If your documents are not in English or French send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the original version. Do not send any additional documents when submitting your application to the CIO.
