Dear All,
I have a couple of doubts and I would be highly obliged if you could resolve them:

1. Translation of Marriage Certificate: The certificate has text in my regional language and in English as well. However, the stamp of the name of the person who has signed the certificate is in my regional language. Do I need to translate the whole certificate because of the stamp?

If yes, then where would I find a certified translator in India? All the people whom I approached were not ready to give an affidavit (notarized). One translator was ready to give an authentication letter with his stamp and signature (but not notarized). Will this authentication letter be allowed?

2. What can be submitted as proof of change of name? I have made an affidavit of "one and the same person- name changed after marriage". Will this be sufficient along with marriage certificate? Or do I need to provide a copy of name change in Gazzette?

Any help will be highly appreciated, thanks in advance.
