Hi everyone,

For my Express Entry application, I need to provide a few translated documents.

CIC website states that I must provide:
CIC website defines this as:
"A photocopy of an original document. It must be readable and certified as a true copy of the original by an authorized person."

My question is this:
I am going to take my documents to an Ontario Notary tomorrow. He is going to photocopy them, stamp them, and certify them as a true copy of the original.

When it comes to the translations, is my translator suppose to translate the 'original' version or the 'photocopied version which was certified by the notary'. In other words, should the translator include on his paper the name, and contact info of the Notary.

Thanks!
Dan
