Certified copies of documents

Hi there I read that you have to translate every document that is not in English and that you have to attach copy of the original document which is certified by the person who translated it.
I totally get that but what about all other copy that you send with your application? For example I will get my letter of reference from my job here in Germany in English but does the copy of my letter also have to be certified or is a normal copy ok and only translations have to be certified.

Normal photocopies are just fine for any document in English.

For non-English documents, you need

-Simple Copy of non-English document
-English Translation
-Notarized Affidavit by the Translator

Thanks the clarity was helpful. I'll go ahead to submit regular photocopies of all my English documents.
