Hi,
My husband and I are in the process of applying to emigrate from the UK. We have had our first application returned as he needs to have certification of qualification in his profession (electrician) from Ontario. We have had his TEA form accepted, but he has to sit the exam (in Ontario) to get the certificate, but we cannot get to Canada until we have the certificate - we feel we are in a catch 22 position!
The Ontario college of trades has offered to send us his acceptance letter, and a 90 day temporary certificate. Would this be enough for the application? We don't want to send it again for it to be returned to us a second time. Also, by the time it gets around to being processed the 90 day certificate may have expired!
Has anyone else found themselves in the same position? It seems like we cannot emigrate
Thanks
Alix
