Certificate of Qualification

I'm a bit confused and need some help with this...I am applying for the Express Entry under the FSW program as a teacher.You need a teaching certificate to teach in Canada which I'm aware of but I would like to know if I get my teaching certificate will that give me points under the 'certificate of qualification 'section or that is just for skill traders?would like to gin

No it will not give you more points. It only matters when you get to Canada and want to determine if you actually teach. Each province has their own requirements. I know BC has a 1 year course that international teachers can apply to take. The provincial teacher agency will determine whether you can teach in that province and whether you have to do further studies or some form or recertification to teach in public schools. Many private schools prefer that they you are certified to teach in that province but not all of them.

Ok thanks alot for clarifirying but my confusing was for example in Nova Scotia you can actually send your documents to get asssesed and if you meet the requirements you can get certificate.It even as a section for those living outside the country but "if" that is possible and it got assessed would the points come then?

Still no. Points for certificates of qualification are only given for trades (e.g. plumber, electrician).
