Possibly there is a difference in procedures because I applied under the Simplified Application Process, which was implemented from Sep. 01, 2006 until February 26, 2008. My NOC is not included in the 38 priority list but I think it's ok because my application is before the cutoff date for the new policy.

So I guess I just have to wait for the document submission request letter to know the right documents to collect.

Sorry to break this to you but all applicants may it be new or old applicants are subject to the new criteria, which includes; designated NOC should be one of the noc 38 list. I know others who were not in the list but was able to provide other work experience of 1 year minimum on one of the approved noc who passsed the initial assessment and others who recently got their rejection letter for not being in the priority NoCs.

According to CIC news, only those applicants received on or after February 27, 2008 are subjected to this criteria:
http://www.cicnews.com/2008/12/canada-immigration-finally-announced-outlook-2009-12688.html

This is mentioned twice in the article.

On the 5th paragraph:
"Federal Skilled Worker applicants who do not meet these requirements will have their applications returned with a full refund of government processing fees. The new regulations are retroactive to applications that were received on or after February 27, 2008."

And on the 8th paragraph:
"Minister Kenney assured that, “The eligibility criteria apply only to new [submitted on or after February 27, 2008] federal skilled worker applicants and will not affect Canada's family reunification or refugee protection goals.”

My AOR is Feb. 25, 2008. So I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
