Hi BCGuy,

My Canadian Employer wants me to come to BC to work for his company in a faster way. So he consulted some of the visa consultant in BC regarding this, and they gave him this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/special-tech.asp . And two of those fields somehow match to my qualification.

Is this true that there are positions like these really doesn't need a letter from HRSDC or an LMO??

Do you think this is more difficult to prove to the Console our documents to support that need?

Hope to hear your advice, I really need to get this process started.

Thanks a Lot! I appreciate it!!

Yes it is true that these job occupation do not reuire a positive labour market opinion because these are considered to be in short of skilled labour.

You can apply for work permit including a permanent job offer from your prospective employer in Canada and reference letters from your current and past employers stating your title and job duties.

Your job duties and title will have to match exactly as required by the NOC code.
Also, if your prospective employer can provide supporting documentation like PD7As and any ads he had placed etc, this would help you get the work permit.

You may also include a cover letter explaining your education ( has to match requirements of the NOC code) and current and previous jobs.

I hope this helps.

Take Care
