CENOMAR question...

I'd like to ask FSW Filipino applicants... is CENOMAR being required from both SINGLE and MARRIED applicants? I heard that CENOMAR is only being required from single applicants and those that have been married and is being sponsored by Canadian citizens or permanent residents. If so, will it be required from both the primary applicant and spouse, or just from the primary applicant.

hi ronona. according to other forum that i read, it is required for married applicant. I didnt know about it as well, so we'll be sending ours as soon as my husband and I secure CENOMAR from NSO as an additional document.

I thought CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage Record) is for singles and you have to get it from NSO. This certifies an individual that he/she has not contracted marriage. For married ones, should be marriage certificate from NSO as well. ;D

Hi,

CENOMAR is for both single and married people. If someone claims she/he is single, its a proof that indeed you are single. If married, it proves that ur married to the spouse ur claiming and not to anyone else. Im married, me and my husband both set our resume during full application.
