CELPIP Results

I got my original CELPIP results in a sealed envelop. I was wondering if i can open it and take a copy for myself before submitting the original. If this is ok to do?

If your results arrived in the sealed envelope (I heard that the newer results no longer do this) then it's best to leave the envelope as it is.

Didn't they send you a second set of results that weren't sealed? Also you should have online access to your results.

Results r always 2 copies..one is open and 2 nd sealed one...sealed one is for cic and u dnt hv to open it as cic doesnt accept open celpip results

Second that. My results were in a big envelope from CELPIP, inside was my copy and another sealed envelope for CIC.

Mine celpip 2 copies are not sealed. I got the package in mid of march.

Check on celpip website tooo...they clearly stated that the results r 2 copies n cic wl accept only sealed....if urs is not sealed chk with celpip ofc and get it arranged as cic surely wl not accept loose results

If it's sealed - don't open it. That one is for CIC

I don't think it has to be sealed , it has to be original though

The results used to have a sealed one and an open one. I think nowadays the results look more 'certificate'-like and they just give you two open copies, and you just send one of them with your application.

Agreed. The CELPIP website mentions that the new score cards which started to be shipped at the end of January (I believe). Anyways, they aren't sealed anymore because the new version comes with a new mechanism to prove it's an original certificates. Therefore, you have to send 1 copy to CIC, and leave the other one for you. There is no sealed envelop anymore.

Today i received a mail from CELPIP saying that my score was released. in the email they clearly mentioned that "CIC does not require the CELPIP Official Score Report to be in a sealed envelope" . So i believe i can open the envelope keep one for me and attach one in cic package.

You will be sent TWO CELPIP Official Score Reports in the mail through Canada Post. Depending on your location in Canada, you will receive your Official Score Reports approximately 4 to 10 business days from receiving this email notification.

Note: Both of the CELPIP Official Score Reports will be sent in one envelope. If you are using your CELPIP Scores to apply to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), you may submit either CELPIP Official Score Report. CIC does not require the CELPIP Official Score Report to be in a sealed envelope.
