Thought I would share my experience in CELPIP-G
Listening, Reading and Writing were very easy but Speaking is rather cumbersome.
Listening could easily be aced by someone who uses English media.
Reading was easy even though the article used was very technical, only difficult part was identifying the paragraph that each statement belonged to.
Writing was quite simple as well, basically the practice test.
Mine was: You are a student and you work at a bookstore, write an email why you do not want to some certain duties and provide solutions to your boss.
Survey was send out and write an essay whether the city should host a carnival or a music concert to increase city's notoriety and revenue
Speaking was quite difficult, it gives you 30 seconds to prepare and you have to speak for 2 minutes even though you may have already answered the question in 30 seconds.
For example: for lunch, a restaurant served you an under-cooked steak
Tell Annie why you are going to eat the steak
Tell Bill why you are NOT going to eat the steak
Pro tip: in the description part, use descriptive words like "she has hazelnut brown hair and sky blue eyes" instead of "she has brown hair and blue eyes"
