I know according the new changes that we have 90 days to submit the documents after get the ITA, but in my case my CELPIP test will expire on febraury 2017, what happen if I get the ITA on December or january, I will still have the 90 days to submit the documents, or no more after than my test expires? I mean the test is valid for 2 years until get the ITA or until submit the documents?

Language tests

Check that your language test results will still be valid on the date you plan to apply for permanent residence. If your results expire before then, you should:

be tested again,
apply before your test results expire, or
decline the invitation and go back into the pool to be considered in the future.
If you apply for permanent residence with language test results that have expired, we will refuse your application.

You can find this information here --> "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/invitations.asp"

So for example if my test expires on February 23th, can I submit my application on Febraury 22nd????

Yes, if you do that your test would still be valid.

Cheers :)

Sounds like you haven't got ITA yet. The safe thing to do I assume is to take a new test, make sure the score is good and update your file.

This will eliminate your concern over expired test results, and increase your chance of getting ITA.

If you got ITA already, submit everything as fast as you can haha.

That's the best shot

To play safe book a new CELPIP test, prepare I to get better score.

You should do it in advance because CELPIP results take some time and test dates are not inmediately available.

Just a bit more headache and expenses trying to ensure PR, I believe is the best option

Never apply on the last day or the day before that.
allow yourself at least 3 days buffer, have your documents ready as if Feb 20 is when you have to submit.
You never know with all the glitches in the CIC website it may be down and moreover if you submit your application after 5 pm your AOR date will be next day.

but to answer your language test results expiring in Feb, you have to submit your test results before you before they expire.

reappearing for the test - it depends on your current CRS score and whether you think you will receive ITA in next couple of months and whether you have sufficient time to submit your application.
if you haven't done your e-Medicals and Police Clearance and if you are waiting for ITA i would suggest you to get those done, to avoid delays.

Hi I have another question I hve two dates on my report: Date of language test and Date of language results, which one counts for the 2 years???

Hi! Is there a link that can verify that the expiration of language test results is based on the date of the results and not on the test date? Thanks!

My previous comment is incorrect, if you look at your test results sheet it is stated that the results are valid to up to two years from the date of the test.
