Hello everyone,
I'm holding PGWP and my wife has OWP. We recently got a great English score so our CRS boosted to 526, which means we have a great chance to get ITA next week.
However, the 526 includes a 5-point from my wife's work experience in Canada. She started this job in QC last October. We thought that she is self-employed because the company provided her T4A instead of T4. However, we recently found that the contract described her position "a regular full-time" position as a Graphic Designer, effective from 2021-10-15 to 2022-10-15. I believe this means she is not self-employed.
My questions are
1. Is self-employed in QC eligible to obtain 5 points for CEC?
2. If it's eligible and we claim it's a self-employed work, how to justify the description in her contract?
3. IF it's not eligible, should I add her work experience to our application? It's obvious that we don't need this 5-points to get ITA. I'm wondering if it will be better to remove her work experience and claim this after in her life experience.
Thanks in advance!
